Delete your account
How to ask for your account and data to be deleted, and what a permit-to-work record must keep.

How to ask
Ask your company's HSE team, or email app@dticonsultancy.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We check the request with your company and do it within 30 days, then confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in: you can no longer sign in, and your password is replaced, so it can no longer be used.
- Your email address and language on your account.
- Your sites and your notifications in the app.
- The copy of permits on your phone, which is wiped when you sign out. Records not yet sent stay on the phone until they reach the server: they are part of the safety record.
What is kept, and why
Your name stays on the permits, signatures, approvals and records you made, and in the audit trail. Your email address may remain in the safety audit record of actions taken on your account, such as your invitation.
Your roles, competences and authorisations stay on the record, to show what you were authorised to do. With your sign-in blocked, they can no longer be used.
A permit to work is a safety record. It must show who authorised, did and checked each step, so that incidents can be investigated and your company can show it worked safely and lawfully. The audit trail is built so that nobody can change or delete it.
These records are kept for the life of your company's contract plus 7 years, then deleted with the company's data. Our providers keep their own logs of sign-ins and emails sent for their usual log periods.
